Newry Masterplan Public Consultation
Welcome to the public exhibition of the draft proposals for the Newry City Centre Masterplan. Newry has many fantastic qualities, such as the Newry Canal and a number of architecturally significant buildings, not to mention its friendly, welcoming people.
However, there are a number of challenges facing Newry such as traffic congestion and parking issues, as well as areas of low environmental quality. It is within this context that the need for the Masterplan exists, to establish a vision for the future.

These exhibition boards have been prepared to inform the people of Newry of emerging ideas for the future development of the City. They are currently on public display at the Sean Hollywood Arts Centre for a fourteen week period, closing on 18th March 2011.
This is your City and now is your opportunity to ensure that the Masterplan reflects the needs and aspirations of the people of Newry.
Your feedback is vital; therefore, please take time to study the exhibition boards and review the emerging proposals.
All of the proposals outlined are in draft and therefore will be subject to change, pending the outcome of the consultation period.
Following your review of the exhibition boards we welcome you to complete a feedback questionnaire to provide us with your opinions and comments on any of the elements presented.
