The masterplan for this historic part of Belfast was one of the first commissions we undertook for Laganside Corporation under a term appointment.

Our proposals offered a clear vision to develop the underused and neglected area around St. Anne’s Cathedral as an Arts & Cultural Quarter.

We prepared a detailed public realm plan, and subsequently designed and administered the delivery of streetscape works, civic spaces and courtyards, which captured the distinctive character of the area, and won Civic Trust and LGN Streetscape Awards.

This investment of around £2.5 million was the catalyst to wider regeneration, resulting in Cathedral Quarter becoming one of the city’s most vibrant areas.
