Royal Highland Showground - New Masterplan for Ingliston, Edinburgh
A central strategic development objective for the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland is to transform the present highland showground at Ingliston, near Edinburgh Airport into Scotland’s national showground. Having considered relocation to Norton Park, south of the A8, the society has decided to consolidate, develop and improve their site at Ingliston, and to take advantage of the site’s proximity to the airport by linking with the proposed Edinburgh arena project.
We prepared the initial masterplan for the society, and subsequently designed and implemented the countryside management area, and improvements to horticulture and forestry areas of the showground.
