Derry, or Londonderry as it is also known, has a wealth of history including the dramatic and largely intact 17th century walls. Its heritage is juxtaposed with the more recent troubled past, associated with conflict and social division.

As the city was positioning itself to move forward confidently, we were commissioned to prepare a public realm plan to provide a strategic vision for the central area. This provided the basis for investment in tourist infrastructure, a new bridge, streetscapes and squares as well as civic lighting and interpretation / orientation facilities. Following the successful launch of the plan, we designed and delivered signage and leaflets to help people understand, explore and enjoy the city.
