Fethard is widely regarded as Ireland’s finest example of a medieval walled town, with near complete fortifications encircling this historic village, set in the heart of rural County Tipperary.

We worked with the community to prepare a public realm plan for Fethard. This plan addressed how the streets, spaces and historic landmarks of the village could be preserved and enhanced, bringing benefits to local people and businesses, whilst realising Fethard’s clear potential for increased tourism revenue.
