The county town of Tyrone is undergoing a transformation. The departure of the army from its Lisanelly base and the possible relocation of five town centre schools to a new campus means unprecedented change for Omagh in the near future.

We were appointed to lead a team to begin to manage this process of change, ensuring that opportunities are maximised for the sustainable benefit of the town. By working closely with key stakeholders, a masterplan of new streets and spaces emerged, providing the context for extensive mixed-use development.

Town centre living and working, an enhanced retail offer and a vibrant new riverfront are now firmly established as key features in the future vision for Omagh town centre.
